DHARMA & GREG is a sitcom about a mismatched couple who share nothing in common but the belief that they were meant to be together.
While Dharma was brought up by bohemians with anti-establishment ideals, Greg was raised by aristocratic parents with a stiff upper lip. Despite their obvious differences, they recognize on their first whirlwind date that they have found love at first sight and immediately get married - which horrifies their parents.
Each episode chronicles another comic adventure in opposing sensibilities, and how each party must find a way to cope with the other. From Greg navigating the kooky whims of his wife's strange lifestyle or her parents' often bizarre beliefs, to Dharma's incomprehension of her husband's "regular" job or his mother's ruthlessly snobbish attitude, their marriage is an uphill battle. And though each drives the other crazy, they agree that somehow they were destined for one another.
