Mac, Charlie and Dennis are best friends who own an Irish pub in a big city. Sweet Dee is Dennis’ sister, who works as a bartender for them. In each episode, these characters have their own self-interest in mind, no matter how unique or mundane the situation. While they generally are interested in making the business successful, they usually have a greater desire in scamming one another.
Serious issues such as racism, underage drinking and gun control somehow weave their way into their cockeyed universe. And while the friends are self-professed authorities on every subject they actually possess expertise in nothing at all. Their constant scheming to get ahead by not-so-redeemable methods usually lands them in a world of hurt, yet they never seem to learn from their mistakes.
