A family comedy about having it all – and not knowing what to do with it.
By most accounts, self-made man Darryl Hughley is a success: a beautiful wife, two great kids and a brand-new house in a fancy suburban neighborhood. His kids love their new school, and his wife has already befriended the neighbors.
However, Darryl cannot forget that he grew up poor in a bad neighborhood. A prosperous businessman and a fun dad, Darryl can also be tough to live with. It’s up to his wife to bring Darryl down to earth and convince him that enjoying his hard-earned lifestyle will not, in fact, make him lose touch with his roots – contrary to what his best friend believes.
Over time, the irascible but fun-loving Darryl may grow more accustomed to his new community – but he's never reluctant to share his hilariously cantankerous perspective.
