A comedy that revolves around a widower from an eccentric, spoiled family, who after being passed over as a partner in the family business, resolves to quit altogether and move away to spend more quality time with his son. But after his father is arrested for shifty accounting practices and the family assets are frozen, he is forced to stay at home to help pick up the pieces. While there, he reluctantly finds himself trying to teach his wildly dysfunctional relatives how to live without an endless expense account — all under the same roof.
