This comedic drama follows the bumpy alliance of two equally unbalanced attorneys attempting to keep each other "sane."

JASON is a superstar attorney at a prestigious law firm, whose nonstop drive toward professional advancement backfires when his wife, LAURIE, kicks him out of the house and, to make things even worse, he has a nervous breakdown.  After three months at a "wellness center," Jason finds himself with no job and no place to live.

Enter SHULTZ, an unkempt, unpredictable sufferer of an explosive disorder, assigned to be out-patient "buddies" with Jason by their mutual therapist, DR. ROBINSON.  A low-rent lawyer who usually represents deviants and petty criminals, Shultz eagerly latches on to a very reluctant Jason.  The intrusion is the last thing Jason needs as he seeks to rebuild his career and re-establish a relationship with his 8-year-old son, as well as lend emotional support to KATE, a troubled young woman to whom Jason grew close in the hospital.
